Hi,
I'm a newbie...lol...
How do you stay within your goals (calories, carbs, fat and protein)? I'm only on my second day, but am trying to work on the days ahead. I end up with extra calories and carbs to use up but I can't seem to find foods that do not have fat and protein. I didn't think this was going to be that hard to do. What are some suggestions or websites that list foods with the calories, carbs, fat and protein.

    Hi deb,

    I tend to plan the day in advance starting with dinner, then lunch, then breakfast and snacks make up whatever im short on for the day. I can switch foods as needed to meet my macros, eg if I need more protein but no fat I'll add lean meat, or protein shake. If I also need more fat I'll add cheese, for carbs fruit, crackers, rice, pasta etc.
    If ive got some of each left ill add a treat like a chocolate bar or some cake :-)

    It takes a while to get used to what foods fit together best to meet your goals, my diary is open if it will help you x
