Ok so i'm keeping up with my exercise but i'm curious i've had bread for the last few days like 2 slices or so, will this make me bloat or up my weight at all? I'm so sorry if I sound dumb!

If you are within your calories and as long as it wasn't made of 100% sodium you should be fine

No question is dumb! I lost 82 lbs and ate atleast four peices of wheat bread per day not including the foot long roll the days I had subway for lunch.

I love bread, and refuse to give it up. I limit it to 2 whole grain slices a day by eating 1/2 sandwiches at a time, loaded with chicken breast or tuna.

bread(carbs) will cause some water weight. it's natural part of bodily function. The more carbs you eat the more water you'll retain. i beleive it's something around 3 parts of water retained for every part of carb. Not sure of the exact amounts off top of my head. I wouldn't worry about it. 2 slices is not a lot.

Bread may not affect you like it does me, but I always gain when I eat even just a few pieces. It also seems to make me want to eat more food in general.

I have some form of bread daily, whether it's a bagel or muffin for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, or garlic bread with dinner, like tonight. I typically get over 200g of carbs a day. And I'm usually over my sodium.

    I'm not bloated.
  • fffffff I just wanna make sure it's good to stay eating it, I got some delicious whole wheat bread today!

Always count the calories in bread. There can be a big caloric difference in different types. Try to eat denser dark breads -- higher calories, but more fiber, less starch. Nothing wrong with a little bread but white bread is pretty pointless.

I love white bread so if I do eat it occasionally I eat the whole grain and that's what I feed my kids if they get white bread.

It might make you retain some water, no big whoop.

I'm trying to respond to this quote ^^^^^^^^^^ above.

Holy cow!! I've been eating my 1300 cals, but about half of it has been bread and grains....maybe it's time to let some of that go. lol

this is correct. only way to eat turkey leftovers is on white bread.

and pointless? any food that goes into your body is used as fuel. so .... not so much.
