I don't want to cause any arguments. I have my caloric intake set at 1764. I think that is right based on the military body fat calculator and the BMR tool. I think that is right.
My question is, which formula do I go with.
The Harris Benedict formulas says my BMR is 1825.
The Kat-McArdle says my BMR is 1342.
I have read that you are supposed to add 20% on top of that. Did I read that right? and which one should I use.
Also on the how much should I eat chart it says I should eat 1877 for being sedentary. Is that what I go with. If this has been gone over a tonne of times I am so sorry. I just want to do this the right way and be as healthy as possible. I don't care how slowly I drop the weight I just want to work on being healthier.
Also this one is going to sound so stupid I know it is but. Over the last 3 years I have lost 3-5CM in height. I have spinal damage, that is a whole other story. SO my question is do I use my current height or the height I was before the spinal damage.

Hi try this http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html. Then go with a 300-500 cal deficit for a 1-2lb loss range if you're interested.0
