I buy frozen chicken tenderloins and it says serving size is four ounces problem is I do not own a food scale and am not in the position to purchase one at this time. My question is how many pieces equal up to be 4 oz. One internet site I found said that 1 piece is equal to 1 oz. but I just want some more opinions. Thanks!

On the package it tells you have many pounds it is for the total package. Plug that number (pounds) in to a search engine to convert to ounces and then divide the total ounces by the number of tenders to get a rough estimate for each piece.

Count how many are in the package, and divide that by the number of ounces on the package.

I would guess that 4 oz would be about two, but I've seen some puny tenderloins, and some bigger ones. Just like I've seen boneless skinless chicken breasts that were about 4 oz each in size, and some only have five breasts per 5 pound "big pack" package.
