I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Make smart choices so there is no "guilty" feelings come Monday!

Off to jog a mile or two! Just wanted to check in and tell you all that even though I don't check in as often as I used to, I still think of all of you everyday. You are my motivation and I love each of you for it!

    Enjoy!

    Hey Everybody,
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!! Just finished cleaning out the garage, taking the 4 cowboys to the groomers, changing the linens and .... PK and J + AB jam!! Yea!! Throwing some clothes in the laundry and then heading out to clean the pool. The extra "housekeeping stuff " should count fro some exercise cals, right??
I didn't work out at all yesterday and that was surprisingly hard, I felt guilty or something, I guess. But I've been doing some reading on another thread about plateaus and getting "stuck". There's a guy,Banks, on there who gave some pretty intelligent advice about the diet part as well as exercise cals. Most of it is pretty familiar but I tend to not eat my exercise cals and haven't lost any weight for like 3 or 4 weeks! So frustrating!! I recalculated my goals and it upped my cals/day to 1380and I am going to really try to change my mind about eating all of my exercise cals. We'll see what happens in a couple of weeks.
I've been so frustrated I was even going to try a new exercise plan - one of my employees gave me the slim in 6 series - I looked at the first 2 and was like "way to quiet for me" , the music was tame and there seemed to be a lack of energy compared to TJ, LOL!! Chalene has ruined me for anything else!!!
Anyway, change is the name of the day - and I'm down 1.8 lbs from last week - so maybe I'll make myself take a day off more often:laugh:

Drevans - really miss not reading your posts as frequently as before but really glad to know you are still plugging away at it!! I think of you too, and send some encouragement your way!! Great job on your jog!! Thanks for reminding us about the food choices, , it's a good one!!

Megan- hope you're enjoying your weekend, I know you're eating clean and getting your work in!!

Deedun - Glad to see you!! Great job on your workouts this week!! I love CP2 it's my favorite one of all of the CPs. I had to force myself to rotate more b/c i think my muscles got used to it, LOL!!

Much love to all I missed and sorry for the long post
    You are all appreciated

    Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

I don't know what I'm doing today yet...I've been making fruit salad for a picnic tomorrow, and if I never see another watermelon again it'll be too soon!

Janet, I think you have the right idea by changing you're cals and goals. It's really weird, but whenever I hit plateaus, if I took a few days off as far as exercise, and upped my cals a little, suddenly the weight started to come off again. Banks does post some good information, and it really makes sense, but I think it's so hard to get into the mindset of eating more. I never ate all of my exercise cals until I started Chalean Extreme, but that makes me so hungry i have no problem eating them now...which makes me a little paranoid, and I'm jumping on the scale every day...gotta work on that

Lyn, great job on the jogging! :drinker:

Dara, WTG on getting back into your TJ's!

Hope everyone's have beautiful weather this weekend!

    Good Morning Jam Family,
Thinking of you all and hoping that everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend. Just checking in and keeping myself accountable. FInished washing the car and 20min TJ before things get moving around here. A coworker gave me some beautiful fresh rib eyes that I am probably going to chef up later today, no picnics or gatherings on the agenda; just a quiet day at home. Most of the work is done, which is good, only 2 loads of laundry left. Sometimes it seems as if it never ends, lol!
Wedding was good last nite - and I navigated thru the food pretty well. They served lasagna and alfredo!!! :noway: I had a small serving of lasagn and a lot of salad,. I made a point to concentrate on conversation rather that what I was putting in my mouth, made good choices (under the circumstances) and had a good time. The bride is a disco fan so there was lots of music to dance to ~ so I did!! Can you say "Dancing Queen". WOW, I forgot how long those songs can be - remix version:laugh:
Megan: Hope you get a chance to enjoy some of that fruit you've been cutting up!!

Drevans: Hope you are having fun with your family and getting some rest!!

Ronks: hope your ttrip/wedding went well and you got your w/o in!!

Love and blessings to all I missed,

    Janet
