Someone to review my food diary?

I've been losing weight consistently, but I was just curious to see if there's anything I should change? Or some alternatives to something I'm eating? I want to get the most out of my health/fitness journey! (:

I think you are doing a great job so far! You have lots of fruits and veggies and little or no processed foods. Nice work! If there was anything to change, it might be to add another dairy serving. That's about all I see. I think you're doing well!

I'm definitely no expert but that's a pretty good looking diary. A lot of whole, raw foods is always a good thing. Maybe try some Greek style yoghurt? Good calcium dose and added protein as well :)

In any case, good work, keep it up! :)

    Looking great!

Unless you're insulin resistant you might want to consider switching out the sugar tracking for fiber instead - although looking at how much fruit and veg you're getting I doubt your fiber is low anyway.

The only other thing I could pick on is that you're often coming in slightly under on protein and fat and slightly over on carbs - if you really wanted to be fickle you could switch some of those carb cals over to fats and proteins instead.

But yeah, you're doing a damn sight better than I am at nailing your macros. Nice work.

I second the Greek yogurt suggestion!

Also, looks like you're consistently over on sugar (same problem here)... maybe swap Welch's grape jelly for something more natural with less sugar? Looks like you have some fat to spare everyday, you could even treat yourself to a 1/2 serving of unsalted butter instead ;)

Very good looking diary. I would encourage you to add more protein. If you don't do too much strength training, .5 g per lb of lean body mass. If you do lift, more like 1g per lb of lean body mass. So for example, for me, I should have about at least 88 g of lean protein a day. For some reason, MFP has macros set all wonky. I custom changed mine to 40/30/30, but I typically go over on my protein. Hope this helps!

You are doing great !!! Calories result in weight fluctuations, however macros are also important if you are on a journey to being healthy. I am not an expert by no means, but I think if you can reduce the carbs and bump up the protein you might have better work out results in terms of muscle toning.
Also, your sugar levels are just like mine ... I am always over because of all the fruits i eat, so i have decided to accept it as normal and move on until someone gives me a genius advice about it :)

and woooohooooo for your success and motivation :)

Looks like you are on the right track. You are a little light on protein. Try to get a little more on or near the days when you do some cardio. Also, you are sometimes a bit high on salt. If you can substitute something for what is probably store bought soup you can drop your sodium level. You aren't tracking fiber but you are probably okay there. Watch those fries--they make it easy to slide of your plan! I like the greek yogurt suggestion.

I'd up the protein, and also up the "good fats." You could definitely have a little more. how about adding avocado or nuts to one of your meals?

You are mostly unprocessed and you have a good amount of produce so you are doing well.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions! I tried organic greek yogurt before, and I didn't like the bitter taste. Does the non-organic kind taste better?

doubglass: Those fries were a once in a blue moon thing, I promise! Haha

That soup isn't store bought. It's the first soup I've ever made, so I'm still learning. This is what I make it with: Organic low-sodium veggie broth, organic zuccini (sp), red peppers, organic fingerling potatoes, sweet peas, carrots, and organic celery hearts. I seasoned it with garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper and seasoned salt. Maybe omit the seasoned salt?

Add your own sweetener to taste. I doubt that you'd even approach the amount of sugar in a regular yogurt. :)
Add a little sugar and eat it with a cup of sweet fruit. I like berries, stone fruit or mangoes for a yummy treat.

All in all looks very good. Good job! One change you might consider is shifting the balance more toward protein. Also, any interest in strength training? You may be doing some of this already in what you're logging as Circuit Training. But if not, and you have access to a gym, you might want to put strength training on your roadmap. There's a growing trend of women getting into it, and from what I see, most of them are loving it and what it's doing to their bodies.

Chop or puree some fresh fruit and mix it in. You consume quite a bit of fruit already, so may as well use some of it to make the yoghurt taste good :)

It looks nice and healthy but just a word of earning, you look like you've had the dame lunch and dinner more or less for the last 6days, are you sure you are not going to get bored of this??
I would try and shake it up more and enjoy your food within the calorie limits, I find trying new things essential to keep my interest.
