So last year I bought two of the EXACT same pairs of shorts, same size, style.. the only thing different was their Colorado. Both size 16. So how come one pair is way too tight, the other is loose?! Doesn't make sense to me

I've heard fabric is cut in a huge stack, so the size at the top of the stack differs from the one at the bottom. Just another reason why shopping and women's clothing drive me crazy!

I have two pairs of shorts. One is an 8 and one is a 10. They're the same brand, cut, color, and style. The waist on the 8 is two inches bigger than the waist on the 10. Sizes mean nothing.

This! you just can never tell. That is why i always take 4 sizes with me to the dressing room and ALWAYS try on before I buy.

YES! Frustrating, isn't it? This is why I never buy pants online. I generally wear a size 8 but also have a few size 6 and one size 10 pair of pants. I hate going into dressing rooms because I usually need two identical pairs of pants in different sizes to see what works.
