I know this subject has undoubtedly been done to death already but I recently ordered some Coconut Water online after reading about its purported health benefits.

Are there many here that subscribe to those health benefits and drink it regulalry? If you do have you noticed a difference in how you feel?

I bought 12 x 330ml containers of Vita Coco and plan to drink one container a day and see if I notice any difference after 12 days. If I don't then I won't be buying it again.

I'm not a fan of straight water and think this is a fairly low cal option for a non caffeinated drink.

  • I drink it as a replacement for milk now, the one i buy has added vitamin B and calcium and its quenches my thirst. I havent really felt a health benefit but have no common side effects of lactose, milk and i know im gettin my calcium in :)

I just recently tried some. I know some of the benefits are it replenishes electrolytes, far better than sports drinks I believe. It also has lots of antioxidants and potassium. I too tried the Vita coco. It's an acquired taste. The box which I think is 17oz says it has 2 servings. I poured it into a 1/4 size cup (75ml) and had just that little bit to start. I did have to choke it down a bit, I'm hoping I will adjust and like it better.

I really like the taste of the Vita Coco, it's for the anti-oxidants and potassium that I thought I'd give it a go. From looking online as well it says it's anti-ageing also.
