Losing weight is easy! I've done it a million times!

In the past 20 years, I've probably lost the same 25 pounds at least 10 times. So for all intents and purposes, I'm a pro at weight loss. The problem? I've never learned how to maintain a loss. So I lose the weight and either try to keep eating the same way I did when I was dieting or I get to my goal, then go back to the way I was eating before the diet! Then I start gaining slowly until I've gained it all back and then some! And then I begin the cycle again.
This time, I've set a goal for myself of 160 (which is not even within my healthy range, I'm 5'6) because I am scared that I won't be able to maintain the loss. Any advice from people out there who have gone through the same thing and are now successfully on maintenance? Any tips you can give me is greatly appreciated!

Hello, :flowerforyou:
I know how you feel! I have done it so many times I even lost 50 pounds back in 2006, basically I was working 2 jobs and had more stress then I could handle, I would say that wasn't a healthy loss. The only way I see how I can mange my weight loss, is to not call it a diet but a healthy life change. I am re-teaching myself to eat health foods, by increasing fruits/vegetables cooking for my family and always logging everything I put in my mouth. It is a tough job but if you do not do it who will? I have been doing yoga and started the insane video 30 day shred!!! I try to walk as much as possible and just now starting out jogging. That is the best I know how to loose weight, I am loosing inches, weight, and gaining a healthy lifestyle!!
Good luck and feel free to add me as a friend, the more the merrier, that has also helped!!0
