What is sensa all about and have any of you tried it? If you did, did it work for you? likes and dislikes?

I tried it. You sprinkle this stuff on your food... there's a salty one and a sweet one. At the time I was trying to cheat the weight loss system but using that and not exercising. I did not see any real results so I stopped using it. Plus, I felt like it made some foods taste bad.

Sensa is based on "fillers". It is mostly maltodextrin, which is what they put in Splenda granualted to make it the same sweetness, by volume, as sugar. Also, sensa has silica which is a moisture absorber you see in bottles of pills, shoe boxes, etc. So, in short, to me it looks purely a filler to make you feel full when eating. Unfortunately, our bodies don't get the total "full feeling" until about 20 minutes after we have finished our meal.

Edit: During our weight loss journey, it is very important we learn to cook and eat healthy. If we use crutches, it's going to be difficult to maintain our weight loss.

I'm using it now, but I don't know that it makes any difference. I will stop using it after I run out. If you're planning out your calories, you're going to eat what's on your plate. It's for people who don't want to plan and it may help you stop sooner if you have a big plate of food. I'm trying not to do that any more.
  • Thanks for the info, it helped make my decision. I don't think it's something that intersts me or will work for me.

Drink a big glass of water before each meal ... much cheaper and healthier "diet trick".

I've read about it and personally I wouldn't spend the money on it. Like another poster said, it's pretty much all fillers and I wouldn't want to put that stuff in my body.

Any appetite suppressant or diet aid is not healthy in my opinion. Whether it's natural or not I wouldn't trust any of those pills.

My boss uses it.....it sounds kind of bogus but in actually what they do is give you this substance to sprinkle on your food to increase the smell of the food...so in turn you eat less of it because smelling your food can help sate your appetite.

However, people aren't fat because they are TRUELY hungry all the time. They are fat because they THINK they are hungry (but really bored, sad, etc) and eat the wrong stuff.

Save your money. Real weight loss is not about anything other than WILL POWER.
