Logging Water consumption

Should I be logging all of the water that I drink, or only the water that I drink with meals or with snacks? More specifically should I log the water that I drink after running or boxing? I ran a couple of miles this morning and drank 32 oz of water immediately after. Does this go towards my daily goal of 8 glasses, or is this simply replacing the water I lost sweating from the run?
