Hi There,
I am a 27 year old woman, and I recently made a lifestyle change and started a primal/paleo eating plan for management of a chronic health problem and also weight loss. I refuse to use the d-word (diet) because what i'm doing is not a diet. It was a lifestyle change. I'm not going to stop eating this way once I meet my goals.
I made the switch right after Christmas, when my weight was up around 175. (I'm 5'7). My weight, as of this morning, was 157, so I've already lost almost 20 lbs eating this way! My goal is to lose about 20 more and get down to 135-140 range.
I did great right after Christmas, but I've been slacking these last few weeks! Still eating primal, but eating too much sugar (mainly from fruit) to be able to lose weight. And I haven't been working out regularly.
Anyone else in my boat? Started losing weight, but then slacked off a bit and hit a plateau?
