.....she's new to MFP. Since there is no friends search tool, this seems to be the easiest way for us to find each other.

    If you know her user name, you can go to Community and put her user name in the search box and see if anything comes up.

    I tried that and it didn't work. But I know there is a way, I just can't remember what it is. Sorry.

    or if you know her log in name you can send her a message under mail :-) when she responds you click on her name which will take you to her homepage and you can add her as a friend. So lame that you can't search friends!
