Best way to log...

I work at a home improvement store and this is our busiest time of year. I'm constantly moving around, running around, lifting things, and i work 6-8 hour shifts. I swear I'm probably burning 300-450 calories a shift from all the walking around i do. How can I log this in my exercise? Someone mentioned to me to get a pedometer that calculate calories burned?
