I allow myself 1 splurge a month. My first month it was a yummy cheeseburger and fries- the second month was a piece of my birthday cake and just last night in my third month I had Domino's thin crust pizza with onions, mushrooms, peppers and sausage. I love the fact that I can have one splurge a month and still lose the weight I'm losing. Cindy

I second the red velvet, but my all time favorite is a tres leches cake (deadly!) I keep promising myself when I get to the next mini goal, I'll make one, but then I am so happy with where I'm at I don't want to sabotage myself! My problem is, I won't eat one piece, I'll eat the whole thing!
Another treat for me is Indian food. LOVE IT!

Rack of Lamb at Outback Steakhouse. I have it about once a month with two sides of veggies so it's not too bad of a splurge .. just lots of salt and a bit more fat and calories than I normally have at dinner.

I heard about this new sub at Bryne dairy, its roast beef, provolone cheese, and what they call "dinosaur" bbq sauce on herb and cheese crusted sub roll. I hear it is phenomenol(sp) and i promised myself that if i lost at least two lbs by friday i would let myself have 1/2 of one as a reward. It sounds so gooood i wish it wasn't only tuesday!!!

My splurge is peanut butter cup ice cream. I'm not as good as you guys, though - I splurge more than once a month. I get a cup of ice cream every Saturday. I do an hour step aerobics class and some upper body strength training on Saturdays so hopefully that helps. But usually I don't feel too guilty - it is a splurge, and I only do it on Saturday. So far it has not affected my weight loss efforts.

If I go over on my calories, it's for Italian food. But I usually build my "splurges" or "treats" into my days/weeks. I have to or I couldn't stick to this for the long haul. I  food!

I love crisps. If I have any calories to spare, every so often I will have them. I find it hard to stop with crisps - I'll eat them til they're coming out of my ears. haha

My normal splurge is cookies n cream ice cream but the other night we went to dinner and a concert at the hard rock casino and I did eat 2 bites of like 5 deserts. But at least I didn't eat them all! I wanted to!

    You guys are awesome!

I too love York Peppermint patties and eat one in place of the giant box of Junior Mints when we go to the movies. Less fat & sugar, but pretty much tastes the same, just not as gooey. The sugar free yorks are ok too.

I LOVE the hardrock... WTG just taking a couple bites of everything instead. That woulda been hard for me!
