I'm on day 19, technically. I started the Shred on March 2nd with high hopes. I knew I would do it for 30 day doing each level for 10 days. I've failed miserably at this. I've done Level 1 for 9 days because I got bored. Then I went to Level 2 and I've been stuck on it for 12 days. I'm not bored I just find Jillian's voice annoying and repetitive. It didn't bother me in level 1 cause I loved the workouts but the level of workouts in level 2 are insane. Yes I get that they are a level up but some of the cardio is just to much of a jump. I can understand going from jump rope to double jump rope or even punches and and butt kicks to high knees and skaters but the plank jacks and squat thrust, I don't know maybe its just me but does anyone else feel like we should have at least done one plank move in Level 1 to prepare you for planking in level 2? I can see how push up maybe would prepare you but some people, myself included, followed Anita who did the knee push up. Anyone one else feel the same?

I need some motivation here, I'm about to skip day 10 of level 2 and just jump into level 3 because I hate it that much.

I did level 1 for 14 days and was hoping to do the same for level 2 & 3 as well ( at the end I leave for a cruise!!)

however level 2 is killing me. i still have 23 days until cruise and i thought I can;'t do level 3 for 23 days

I need motivation too, but i know we can do this!!!
I don't find the planks too hard for me it is strength 3 with the squats and lifting your arms up.....I scream at that part!!
Just modify your plank...we can do it!!!

Me and 30ds have a strange and disfunctional relationship. I've been doing it for at least 2 months now, but I don't follow the system. I just do what feels good to me. I work out 3-4 days per week. Some days I do level 1, while some days I'll do levels 1 & 2 back to back. I've only done level 3 once and I don't think I'll be back that way for a minute (mostly b/c a friend made me a copy so I have to ff thru levels 1 & 2 to get to 3, by then I'm not interested). I have two other JM dvd's- ripped and banish fat, which I do intermittently. And if I don't feel like being bothered with her at all, I go for a brisk walk/jog, or do some p90. I also hate her voice, so I just blast some music over it. I'm not sure if it matters how you do the work outs, as much as it does that you do them. I think I'd go crazy doing 10 straight days of any specific workout. Good luck!

Hopefully this is the motivation you need: I didn't love level 2 and 3 either but I took my measurements and it helped keep me motivated. Not to mention my lovely MFP friends all were awesome on those days where I felt like giving up. I don't think there is a prescription to do it any certain kind of way. I found that I too was getting bored around day 7, 8 & beyond in each workout. Once I felt comfortable and I knew what to expect it no longer became that exciting to repeat. But here is the good news: I am on day 28 and so far I have lost 7 lbs and a total of 10+ inches total. So though I hated Jillian at times, no one can say her workouts are not designed to melt off inches faster than any other DVD workout I have ever tried in such a short amount of time! Stick with it and you too will get there :) I do have to say though that I was a very good girl with my eating habits for the past month. I have been logging my food and staying under the recommended MFP cal goal and eating really healthy (chicken, veggies, fruits and drinking a lot of green tea. Good luck!

Thanks this actually did help. Today is my last day of level 2 and I have every intention of following Natalie. I have seen a difference but not a huge one yet. I'm just going to push though and finish.
