Can I put what I do at my job as cardio?

I am a cna and am constantly running up and down the nursing home halls, lifting patients, bending and standing back up repeatedly numerous times a day. I was wondering if I could count that as cardio and log it into my exercise tracker or if because its something I do most of the time that my work doesn't count as working out ( I think I read something to that effect a while back.) Just curious as to how it goes.

It's tough when someone has a demanding job like that.

I would change my activity level in my goals, and save logging exercises for activities where you're intentionally trying to burn calories.

So obviously you wouldn't be set at sedentary, maybe the one after light activity would be best for you?

For me personally, I'd include that in my initial stats (sedentary, lightly active, etc).

If you DO count it as cardio, I'd set your initial stats to sedentary and eat at least some of those calories back. Just so your macros don't get screwy and you eat too much or too little!
