When I spend a lot of time typing up a witty and insightful response to a thread only to be told 'this thread is locked' when I hit 'reply'

OK, it may not have been that witty or particularly insightful but I guess you'll never know now :grumble:

    I hate when that happens too! What's worse, when my witty/insightful comment on a thread that is soon to be locked results in me getting a warning and a "This comment is too dirty for this forum, despite the fact that you have to be 18+ to sign up for it, and by then you already know what sex is. And sex isn't really dirty, but DAMMIT, no fun! DO NOT HAVE FUN!"

    Ok, maybe some of that was paraphrased. But, still, my point. Yeah. Something like that.
