I took the day off yesterday since I'd exercised hard for 6 days in a row and my body just said no. But this morning, I COULD NOT make me get my butt to the gym! I feel so tired and all I want to do is nothing! I know I'll feel worse if I don't exercise today.....perhaps a little MFPer motivation might help. So do as you will....perhaps a little good ol fashioned butt kickin might help! And thank you for your support!

I really wanted to taake the day off also. But, I am proud to say I did work out. I just finished walking two miles and doing some weight training and stomach crunches. I feel great now but boy getting started was heck! 73242.png

I'm sore and tired today, but I'll be at the gym after work. No pain no game right!?

Caution! You are starting a down hill slide. Get up and get out there! You will feel GREAT if you do. Make sure you are eating foods that give you energy and don't bog you down. Go GO GO!!!!!!

    Trick your body.
Go get some fresh air (i.e. for a brisk walk). The increased oxygen flow should invigorate you, energize you. If not, then you've gotten in a short walk for your exercise today.

start by telling yourself you only have to do 15 minutes. Then if you're still really really tired, you can stop. but i bet you won't be.:glasses:

You guys are awesome! So I brought my gym clothes to work...the gym is on they way home and I WILL do my workout after work. The 15 minute idea is a great suggestion as I know I won't be able to stop at only 15 minutes. A walk outside would be great, but it's to reach 100 degrees here today, and I hear heat stroke isn't conducive to getting healthy.

Seriously, you guys are great! THANK YOU!!!

i know, right? by then you've got some endorphins going, adn even if you don't, you got 15 min in, which is better than nothing.
