I made a recipe posted here>
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/507083-cluck-cluck-chirp-chirp-quack-quack-poultry
the crock pot buffalo chicken..
When adding into the recipe builder it came up with pretty high carbs.. and crazy high sodium.
But!!!.... The part that increased the sodium and cals so much is the sauce... but the sauce isn't actually eaten... it's just what it is cooked in... The chicken is shredded and then taken out of the pot and sauce.
Would you just ignore that portion of the calories and sodium and keep as is... or would you adjust it some how? and if so, how?

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.....

On skinnytaste.com, I know sometimes she only accounts for half the sauce in a situation like that since you aren't eating it. Same with a marinade, sometimes you dump most of it.
