not long ago I got a door gym pull up bar that goes in your doorway and started doing all sorts of pullups and chinups and such.
tonight I did 10 dead hang chin ups with pretty good form
and 6 wide grip pullups
those are the only two grips I tested.
I normally do sets of all the grips along with hanging leg raises and L hang pullups.
A few months ago I struggled to 1 of the easiest kind of pullups.
feels good to make progress.

I have yet to get to that point in my new lifting regime - but I expect I will find it nearly impossible. What you have done is very impressive - keep it up!0

Which one do you have? I've seen them at Target but have seen some negative reviews online about ones that fall apart.
Congrats on your progress!0 -
the one I have is the "Creative Fitness Door Gym" off of amazon
it is quite sturdy
my 290 lb friend even hung from it.
i rarely test my max and even doing 10 chinups today was after a long day of work where I was loading a truck with computer parts all day. I also had already done two sets of pullups.
I mostly do sets of 5 and alternate some extras of other grips.
Even just doing a Negative pullups where you start above the bar and lower yourself down, is really great for your arms and back muscles.0
