Help! It hurts!

I WAY over did it at the gym yesterday and now I am so sore! What can I do to make it stop and what can I do so this doesn't happen again?

    drink lots of water and try for a high protein day, itll help to rebuild the muscles u used yesterday. Did u warm up and cool down properly? and if u know u over did it too much then try not to next time. Aching is good but not to the point of real pain. Also make sure u eat some protein after exercising - a banana etc maybe as thatll help start to rebuild the muscles you tore and used during exercise.
