Sonoma-like diet including meal replacement

I just started working with a trainer. So far it's been great. He brought me a new diet to use for the first two weeks we work together. One of the things I'm going to have to do is drink Isopure shakes, something I've never done. Has anyone had these? I'm also banned from dairy. Usually this isn't a problem, but I lke to start the day with a cup of coffee with two tablespoons of skim milk. I now can't have my two tablespoons. Has anyone added soy, rice or almond milk to coffee? Does it taste like crap? Any recommendations on which one?
Has anyone been on the Sonoma diet? This is all new to me. I still can't understand why I can't eat Nestle Crunch bars coated in an inch of peanut butter and still have the body I had in high school!

Did he say why dairy was prohibited? Are the protein shakes in addition to your meals or a replacement?0

I think they can be used either for meal replacement or snacks. I can have Greek yogurt, but no milk, and definitely no ice cream. I'm also taking CLA and an appetite supressant. So far I feel really great.0
