Feel frree to friend me!
I'm trying to get back to pre baby!
I definitely am looking for some motivation from other young mommies who are trying to get their bellies back to the way they used to look!
I am finding it hard to stick to working out since I am barely getting any sleep, but I find that jillian michaels is my "go to" work out!
Any other suggestions? I take about an hour daily walk, and yoga in the morning!
Thanks!

I'm a little farther out from you (my youngest just turned 6) and definitely older, but I'm trying to get back to the way I looked (and felt good about myself!). For too long, I let their schedules rule my life and didn't take care of myself. I found a gym not too far from me that includes child care (no additional cost!) and they have great sports activities for the kids. My youngest does karate there, all 3 take rock climbing classes twice a week, and my daughter does gymnastics on some Mondays. It means I'm at the gym a minimum of 4 days a week. I work out while they play!
Sleep is still a problem for me. I get 6-7 hours most nights, but it's often interrupted.0 -
It is hard to find the motivation to work out when you are so tired! But I've found that when I dig in and get my workout done, that is what keeps me calm, focused, and gives me energy for the day. I feel much better after just doing it than I do when I skip it.
At the same time, there are days when I am SO TIRED, I give myself permission to just do a warm-up or go through just one set of weight exercises. Normally, that much is enough to give me the energy boost to finish. But if I'm still not up to doing it after that, I will stop. Something is better than nothing, and doing something everyday, even if it's just a little helps me stay in the habit. That is what has helped me to stick with it.0 -
I love my boys but my workout time is mommy time lol and that is whats keeping me motivated alone time!! I never was thin before either of my babies so I cant say how to get back the pre baby belly. but I love bike riding I do about 5.5 miles a day and turn your walk into a run! I just started running and its a PITA but a good PITA
Also eating at BMR level has really helped the weight come off I was at 1200 cal before I started MFP on a RAW diet and A) it sucked
I did it for a month and lost 2 lbs ... IN A MONTH!!! Soooo yeah thats all for now!

My babies aren't so much babies now - My youngest (4yr old twins) are in preschool 2 hrs a day now, so that is when I get out to run or workout. Before they were in preschool, I did elliptical or P90X in the evenings right after everyone was in bed for the night. For me, running especially is such a huge part of me that got buried underneath diapers and laundry for awhile, but starting back in makes me feel SO good. I have so much more energy when I'm getting my running in and eating the right things
Plus, my older 2 sons are seeing me run and have started running with me on the weekends. I LOVE that! It does get easier, especially as everyone starts sleeping when they are supposed to, but hang in there!

Honestly because on days that I don't run, and then into the next day I have a lot less patience with my kids. I am a sahm to 3 5 and under. Running on the treadmill is my me time and i squeeze it in at naptime. It has become my sanity. Plus I feel so much better and its letting me lose weight. I also find that if I do it more the more I want to do it. When I take breaks is harder to get back into it. So no breaks for me.0

I work out while my 2 year old naps. I've tried getting up early, and working out at night, but neither really worked for me. The days I work (I'm a substitute teacher) I try to get my workout in after school, before I pick the boys up from daycare. When my youngest was more cooperative, i would train using C25k with him in the jogger stroller, and am hoping that as the weather gets nicer he will enjoy that again. Good luck!0
