hey i was wondering,is diet an important factor in slimming down thighs?

    Diet is the #1 factor in slimming down period. You can tone to improve the apprearance but diet is the way to lose excess fat.

    You can't spot reduce, so eating or not eating certain foods won't make a difference to your hips and thighs. You can only lose weight and it will come off from all over eventually, including your hips and thighs. That is my problem area and I only saw some real reduction in inches when i was losing the last 10 pounds of my 30 pound total loss. Unfortunately, you are at the mercy of your body. Keep up the calorie deficit and they will shrink!

    Long, slow walks, lunges , squats, swimming, biking all will slim down the thighs and legs in general.

    Diet is the most important component of losing weight and being healthy.

    I also lose from the top down. My face and neck are still slimming down and my chest and stomach area too. I want my butt and legs to start shrinking ASAP but it will eventually happen. <sigh>
