LA Fitness - Bodyworks class

Hello!

Looking for some feedback on this class. Like/dislike? what to expect? The class is at 8:30 AM tomorrow so I want to make sure it is worth the early rise :) (I would usually go around 10 and do my reg workout)

    I go to LA Fitness and LOVE Body Works and Abs. However of course like most classes, it completely depends on your instructor what they have in store for you. What I do is get one step, 4 step raisers, a mat, I get a set of the 7.5 and 10 pound weights. When I began I used the 5 lb and 7.5 lb weights. It is important to have atleast 2 sets of weights because for different exercises you will need different weight. We do maybe a 5 mindute aerobic warm-up just grape-vining and stretching out your arms and legs and getting your heart rate elevated. Make SURE to also have a water bottle right next to you and also a sweat towel if you like. ALSO if you have them bring gloves. I didn't have some weights gloves so used my softball gloves for a while they even helped. You can buy some cheap though. It will protect your hands to not get callusses or sore.

    You will be doing squats, lunges and more with weights for 45 minutes or so. Also some pushups! The last 10 minutes will be abdominal workout on your mat. It is usually a pretty good burn. Our instructor is great so almost everyone is walking out exhausted. I LOVE IT!!!
