Juicing

What do you guys think of juicing? I know you miss out on some fiber (which I make up for during the day by eating whole fruits/veggies) and you might take in sugar more quickly if you're juicing sugary fruits. I've been juicing mostly greens with an apple, carrot, grape(s), or strawberries to sweeten. I like it and it's filling as a snack. The only thing is I'm not sure how to count those calories. I juice once a day. It's been my way to get more goodness into my diet.

Any thoughts?

  • I think Juicing is an excellent source of nutrition, esepecially when you do the deep dark greens. That is what I juice when I do it, Kale, Bok Choy, Romain, Spinich, and an apple and little slice of jinger for taste. My friend lost 40 pounds eating healthy and juicing greens once a day, I hear it is a good antioxidant... I'm sure you can read more on some juicing websites.
