Days Off From Exercising

i know this is probably another one of those topics that has been discussed over and over but instead of searching for the answer, I am going to ask again.
Should you take a day off from working out?
I walk 3-4 miles daily and then do Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 on top of that about 4 times a week.
I have hit a frustration level where not only did I not lose weight, I gained weight (and not muscle)
I am going to try the whole increasing my net calories, but I was also wondering if maybe I should take a day or so off from working out? Anyone have any input on this?

Your body needs at least one day a week of rest. That's when the magic happens and you start to see results. You can't keep beating up your body and not letting it repair. Also about every 2-3 weeks your should be changing your work out routine because your body will adapted to your regular work outs0

Take a break; you don't need to work out every day. I actually only work out twice a week...0
