Fat within joints?

I looked EVERYWHERE online and can't find what I am looking for. It seems to me that the more I lose, the joints are getting more painful. I keep finding opposite information online. One source I found,, for every pound you lose, you take 4 pounds off your joint. Interesting,, yes?

I wonder,, do we have fat within the joints?

Am I the only one wondering or noticing the same?

IF you are getting conflicting information on the internet, maybe it's time to talk to your primary care physician. If they do not know, maybe they can refer you to a specialist who could clarify the information AND make sure there was not something else going on. NOt much help, I know, but my recommendation.

There is not fat in your joints.

You are removing 4 lbs of stress from your joints. Big diff.

If you are experiencing increased joint pain, see your doctor. It isn't because you weigh less.

Could it be from your exercise routine? If the joints appear red or swollen you should have it checked by the doctor.

Incorrect exercise can injure joints. You should NEVER "lockout" on any exercise. Locking out means that the joint is now supporting the stress and not the muscle. Part of joint wear (especially with seniors and elderly) is because lack of muscle involvement and that the bones are now supporting the weight instead of the muscle.
