When do you know you've done enough?

Just wondering what people think about this question: When have you done enough exercise for a day? Is it when you have walked 30 minutes, gone for a 60 minute bike ride, ran 3 miles, walked the dog, or did two hours of cardio, etc.?

Today I went hiking with my dog for 3 miles and did some strength training for 30 minutes. I feel like I need to do more even though I already did 90 minutes of exercise.

When do you know you have done enough? I never know when it's enough.

    If I could exercise all day I would. I'd eat while exercising.

    Other than that I think it's totally up to you and what you feel like doing. If you eat back your exercise calories (or at least some of them) then I think you can workout as much as you want.
