Question on on Jillian Michaels 30day shred!

Im going to start 30ds on Monday because i have heard so much success. The dvd is brand new so i have yet to look at what im getting into. My question is "is there a diet i have to follow? Im counting my calories but is there more to this? What size weights should i use? Im 5 ft 1 in i dont know if that matters.Please those of you who have tried it give me some insight so that i will be prepared. Thank you so much. Oh yes and any advise that you feel i need please give!

    If you have never used weights before use 3lb weights, as far as diet she wants you to eat clean, lean meats veggies and fruit and make sure you eat enough. She suggests you do the video for 2 days, cardio 1 day, video 2 days, cardio 1 day and than rest. And start over. I personally did it for 20 straight days and than took a two day break. I lost 13 total inches and 1.4lbs
