I am looking for advice on compression shorts. I wore running tights all winter and running capris....but the weather is getting hotter. I have lost over 76 lbs in a yr...and have some loose skin issues on my thighs. I need/want to wear running shorts..but want compressions shorts for under them. (To stop chafing and because Im not comfy with the skin yet).

I've had good luck with most of the compression underpants I've tried. I wore them under track pants and such during the winter. I have some from C9 by Champion (Target), Nike, and Reebok, and they all seem to perform similarly. Just be sure to look at the materials list and avoid cotton.

I wear the cheap 'starter' compression shorts that they sell at wal-mart. Paid like 10-12 bucks for them and they work just as well as my expensive under armour ones.
  • i've been wearing CW-X Conditioning Wear- Ventilation Shorts for about a year now and LOVE them. In fact, I just went and bought myself a second pair.

I live in Florida so I need them year round for my runs longer than 10 miles.

They have ventilation panels in them so it helps keep you cool.

I bought mine on Amazon which helped keep the cost down.
