I know, it sounds drastic, odd and impossible BUT I read the science behind it (I love having an Athens/Shibboleth account) and I decided I am willing to give it a go.
So 2 weeks in and look, 5lbs down and a few odd things have happened:
1. I felt full on day 4, an up day, and I insulted my OH by not finishing his scrummy chillie!
2. I didn't feel deprived on the down days - 2 slimfasts a couple of pieces of fruit and lots of tea and water.
3. I managed to find a few meals that I could replace the slimfasts with and even made them for evening meals (I'll stick to the little bottles for day time cos that's when I get my most temptation).
So... then I had a blip - one of those very heavy work weeks, so I am now keeping a forward diary - identify possible problems before they happen and plan for them!
Fingers crossed but this might actually be a good, long term solution for me.
I'll use the food and exercise diaries and make sure I balance the kcals properly - I have no intention of losing more than 1 - 2 lbs per week!
Oh I do hope this one works!
