So I am trying to up both my exercise and calories....I have been stalled for about 3 weeks. So my question is if I stopped eating right now, would I be ok or should I eat until my net is equal to BMR?

Goal 1200 (but eating more)
Food 1417
Exercise -1042
Net 375

Thanks

Would you get in a car with 1/8th tank of gas and try and drive it 200 miles?

then you need to eat something higher in calories. if I have a 4-digit burn, I make sure to bring a clif bar along to get in right away. that's 250ish right there. but if you aren't eating a lot of food to start off with, I'd definitely cut back on the working out, as weird as that sounds.

    Heres the deal with dieting.

    1) Fulfill ALL basal needs!
That means eat enough to at least give the vital organs the proper nutrients.

    2) Fulfill ALL activity needs.
That means you need to eat to do other activities above and beyond sleeping all day.
So if you have a BMR of 1562, mine, and you work out 3-5 times a week, moderately active, you need to do some specific math to figure out what you need.
    So:

    BMR 1562xModerate Active 1.5=2343
So TDEE Total Daily Energy Expenditure is appx 2343.

As long as I eat below TDEE i'll lose weight.

Take 20% from TDEE to get what you should eat daily.

    2343-20%=1894

If I set MFP to 1894 i'll lose weight at about 1lb a week and maintain most lean mass.
I'll also have less difficulty with hormones like Leptin and Cortisol.

So youll need a lot more than a banana and veggies!
Go grab a burger from someplace and log it.

Keep calories below TDEE and youll do fine.

If its really difficult to eat above 1200 calories a day, seek help.
You may have major hormonal issues.

No, obviously. You should be netting at least 1200.

Ok, so I ate all the way up to my net...an ice cream bar, half stick of string cheese, two ounces of chicken, and a half of slice of cheese on the chicken...I honestly feel like a stuffed pig. I am going to swear off the scale for a couple of days and see if upping my calories and upping exercise work...I am praying it does.
