Are fruit carbs the same as bread carbs? :)

Hi all... I'm a big fruit lover, and I'm Italian so I love pasta too.
Well, I noticed many years ago that pasta and breads were my vice so I've tried to cut them out as much as possible and keep my carb intake moderately low- with higher protein.
However I do eat about 2-3 pieces of fruit per day... and those alone sometimes puts me at 100 g of carbs! Is this something I should be worried about as I try to work toward my weight loss goal of 15-20 more lbs? I've tried to keep a majority of my carb intake from fruits, however I don't know if this is the wrong way to go. (as you can see from my diary, I'm in no way on a low-carb diet... just trying to be aware of taking in too many)

carbs are carbs, but more importantly calories are calories. in terms of weight loss (not general health) it doesnt matter what form the calories come in. it's input vs ouput. that's it. dont stress. fruit is good.0

Carbs from fruits are fine. They're non-refined, the fiber content slows down the insulin response, and the additional nutrients packed into most fruits easily outweigh the sugar content. Enjoy fruits to your hearts content (within your calorie goal of course).0
