I joined MFP just over a month ago. Since then I have been doing the Power 90 program (beginner P90X), and eating healthily. I am currently living, working, and traveling in Asia. I have lost 11 pounds, and I was feeling great, until a few days ago. I hit a low point, and I stopped wanting to exercising, and I wanted to eat everything I saw. This is an ongoing battle for me... The ups and downs of dieting, and life, get the better of me. It is easy for me to lose motivation. Once i do, it's hard to get it back.

The hardest part of living where I do is that there are barely any other foreigners here (small city in China). I have no friends to motivate me, and I eat almost the exact same foods EVERYDAY!! There are NO fat free/ diet foods here. There is no gym, and running here is like running after a war. The roads are dusty, ugly, and full of holes. I love running next to a beach, or in a park... somewhere pretty. Here, there is nothing like that. It's quite daunting, and sad! To top it all off, it is now winter!

I was big for quite a few years, but since losing 70 pounds, I was transformed into a totally new person! Living in Asia for the last 3 years has resulted in me picking up about 20 pounds. Of course, this has devastated me because I thought I had found the fit and fabulous me!

I really need a pick up yesterday... Something to keep me going, and to let me know that I have come such a far way, and that I should keep going, and be strong! Like an answered prayer, an old friend emailed me, and attached a photo. The photo reminded me for JUST HOW FAR I HAVE COME!

This gave me the motivation to keep going. I CAN KEEP GOING... I WANT TO FEEL STRONG, HEALTHY, AND FIT.
I have decided to ditch the pose 90, and start P90X so that I am challenged more!
I hope that any of you that feel "low" can be motivated my my story!! Stay strong! Keep going!

Stay strong, and work hard everyone!!!
