Weight Watchers vs. MFP - which is better?

I have done both and had great success with both. But when Weigth Watchers went to Points Plus, I lost interest in it cuz it was too difficult. I went to MFP...after all, it does boil down to calories.

My vote is for MFP because it is easier to track.

How is PointsPlus more difficult as it seems simpler to only worry about one number per food item instead of 4+ numbers? I find MFP a bit tedious. But I don't know if that's because I only have desktop computer access and no smart phone to enter food items. Also I find there is a lot of duplication of food items in the database, and the nutritition counts are very inconsistent.

I think weight watchers can be a good starting point for people who have never tried to get healthy. I teaches portion control and healthier choices. I lost all of my weight on it and have maintained for 2+ years, but then found it not usefull for maintanence and getting really fit because I like to track my macros.

I've done both but I really like being able to track my nutrients and calories. Plus MFP is free! Like the community better at MFP.

I've done both, and have been doing MFP for about a week. I like MFP- I feel like it's fool-proof. It's too easy for me to cheat points. With MFP, it's free and easy.

    I never used WW.

But MFP is free and has a wonderful community. That's all I need!

THIS ^^^ PLUS I think the free veg and fruits is CRAZY PANTS. If you have 3 bananas that is 300 calories. I don't care if it's a fruit!

I did WW for a while. Worked for me with the old points system but the new points system has free fruit and most veggies. It kills me becuase I love fruit so it just wasnt the right choice for me

I am all in for MFP... I did weight watchers on the new and old system and with the new system I felt like I had way too many points, since fruit and veggies are free. I've done way better now that I've switched over to MFP.
