200g onion
1 tbsp mixed herbs
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tin chopped tomato (400g)
1 jar Pasta sauce (440g)
400g lean minced beef
300g pasta (fusilli or penne)

About 700 cals per portion (makes 3)

Fry the beef first, then the onion in the oil from the beef. Add 1/2 herbs to beef while frying, rest to onion, then add everything else (except pasta) and cook til... Cooked!

You can add garlic, tomato purée or mushrooms, depends on taste and available calories.

Those are 3 big portions considering the total amount of your ingredients.

Like to do big portions, as keeps the late night hunger pangs at bay...

I'd trade in the jar of sauce for homemade sauce with fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and some oil. And do lean ground turkey instead of beef. But, that's just me! xD

He also cooks for me and the worse time for me to snack is in the evening so he does them bigger for me to, so that way i don't get as hungry and don't snack on bad things :D
