Well I have to shout out about this as I am thrilled with the result and also I know we are all a bunch of scale addicts but this is not always best.
I started my calorie counting/ weight loss struggle in November after having twins and slowly getting nowhere and at the time in excess of 30lbs seemed so far away. I have battled through managing new babies, home demands with gym workouts and home dvds wherever possible and I am now representing my former/ pre pregnancy state. Only Friday I was moaning on here about my slow 1lb a week weight loss and although on a scale front im still not my pre pregnancy weight I am now fitting in clothes I was wearing back then.
**I BROUGHT A LOVELY LONG ''WHITE'' SKIRT THAT I LOVED AND JUST WANTED A BROUGHT IT IN MY OLD SIZE, I emphasise this as 1- i would never normally wear white as it makes you look bigger and
2- I never use to do this as I never reach those kind of targets.
Well yesterday I tried it on and it fits, NOT TIGHT- like a glove, hugs the right places loosely and looks great and I feel great for it.
The moral of this is dont become a slave to the scale, they are good as a guide but visual is always a better option and I have been beating myself up re the very slow weight loss but although I weigh more (only ever so slightly than before) cleary with all the toning work I have foccussed on my body is in a better shape.
KEEP WITH IT GUYS, if need be get an item of clothing and aim for that, one little piece at a time, YOU WILL GET THERE, if I have so can you... x
