Hija,

been here a few months, do like the few friends that I have but would love to have more, especially active folks.

I had come accross the site before but thought "nah..", but after the summer giving me a few ocations to really feel my weight and lack of stamina I decided I needed to do something more than just "take it slow". So now I've been quite active in okt-jan, but went on a vacation and it's been hard to get back into gear. Think some more friends would really help there.

I'm aiming for building stamina and strength, with loosing weight. Recently started Stronglift 5x5 and restarted c25k, as well as doing 30day shred again. I am aiming for at least 1700 cal intake per day, with eating all kinds of foods. Mostly try to choose healthy but my hubby likes his pizza and burgers so there has to be a balance. Besides, for this change to last I have to be able to eat what-ever (hate being the guest that cant eat this or that) but know what is an apropriate portion so I don't over eat.

So far I have lost about half of what I set out to loose - and decided I'll probably try to loose a bit more. I've learned that running is something I really can do, and that I have way less muscle in my arms than I thought (cry).

Outside of food and fitness I'm a nerd. I like computers (work in IT), roleplaying and boardgames, mmorpg, stragety and rpg computer games, dressing up in medieval costumes, hitting people with swords, watch way too many TV shows and love sci fi and fantasy movies.

I'm living in Norway, so some of my diary food is in norwegian but I think most of it is understandable (worst case through google translate) ;)

so.. who wants to be friends? I promise to try to be supportive and helpfull as I can.

I'm happy to help. I'm here way too much, but that comes with being a bit obsessed with losing the last bit of my weight and getting into really good shape. I find it motivating to see active friends on my news feed.

Woo! Be my friend please. You seem like a fun person, and your goals of staying active are good motivation for me. I am the least nerdy of my group of friends, but I do know the difference between things like Klingon and Mynocks, so yeah. :) Add me as a friend if you would like! I don't follow any particular fitness plan, but I do workout 6/7 days a week and focus on both weight-lifting and cardio.
