Not eating enough?

Was over 700 caories below my goal for yesterday, then worked an overnight 12 hour shift where I spent roughly 2.5 hours on my feet that burned 552 calories. My net calories was only 1148. I had a very long night and felt really bad I think from not eating enough. I am thinking on my work days when I walk a lot maybe I should eat more to make up for the walking. Your thoughts?
