We are planning on taking a few trips this summer to the east and west coast. I'm planning on sticking to my healthy diet as much as possible. We will mainly be eating out. I would love to receive some good ideas on what would be healthy to eat at restaurants that sort of fits the palleo diet and low sodium. I plan to eat a lot of salads, but what else is there to eat other than salad?

I tend to find that even many salads are in fact not that healthy for you, especially when you add a full serving of dressing! I usually go for the fish, ask for it broiled or baked, and a big side order of steamed veggies (:

If you're traveling paleo, just stick to the basics-- meat, veggies, water. You'll do fine. My mom always flips out when we try to go to lunch somewhere "Where can I take you? I don't know what you can eat!" I tell her "anywhere that has meat and veggies" (which is... EVERYWHERE)

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Meat and Veggies it is! I honestly dislike vacation for this very reason. We rarely ever eat out. My hubby makes pretty much everything from scratch, I'm going to dearly miss my home cooked delicious meals.

It also sucks that I won't be able to get my workout in while I'm away :explode:

don't let that be an excuse. Find a way. Go for walks around the hotel, swim, etc. Sometimes hotels have gyms. When I went to my cousin's wedding in NY, I got up at 5a every morning (3a my time back home) and got on the hotel treadmill for an hour.
