Need Help for First 5k

My first (EVER) 5k race is next Sunday. Is there a proper way to train for this, other than the runs I'm already doing? I don't have a lot of mileage under my belt, or endurance... Also, should I wear my regular running clothes for this, or do i wear something special? I'm going out to get some wicking tanks because it's starting to heat up outside...and my cotton tshirt this morning was horrible...

Any other tips/advice are very welcome. I'm excited for this race, but so NERVOUS!
