Good work out songs?

Options
I tend to burn out on songs really quick because I am constantly listening to them!

What are a couple of your "go-to" songs when you need to get pumped up, and just need that extra "umph"?

http://walk.jog.fm/ is a good site to get music to workout to. It is mostly for walking/running since it shows you mph, but it also shows you beats per minute, so I assume you could use it for other workouts...

I listen to Pandora on my phone. They have "workout" stations already made. Depending on my mood I listen to either the country workout mix or the rock/pop workout mix. My boyfriend prefers the rap workout mix (personally not my style lol). But I do have one particular song that gets me pumped up and that Luv Addict by Family Force 5

I love Pandora and usually set it to 50's - 60's rock and roll. I didn't know they have workout stations though... will have to check it out. I just love the oldies though. :)

Depends on the workout, I've made playlists on my ipod for specific ones, and each playlist easily has over 300 songs on it so I don't get burned out. For cardio, I listen to alternative rock (Neon Trees, Phoenix, OneRepublic, Saint Motel, and the like) mixed with what I call jam bands (Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler, Jack Johnson, Dispatch, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Jason Mraz). I'm a huge DMB fan, so I can put just them on and run for a good hour. For strength training, I've got a mix of Tool, Evans Blue, 10 Years, and Chevelle; alot of power songs to get you pumped. Lastly, I've got "angry white boy music"-Rage Against the Machine, Evanescence, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Sevendust, and Rise Against. Obviously I can't narrow it down to one song, but that's what works for me.

Some songs I love working out to include:

    Power - Kayne West
    Roll With It- Easton Corbin
    Daddy's Lambo- Yelawolf
    Diva- Beyonce
    Ring the Alarm- Beyonce

Pretty much anything with a fun and catchy beat.
Some of these have explicit lyrics so beware haha :blushing:

My favorite is this band from Sweden called Quit Your Dayjob (or Day Job?), album "Open Up, Coconut".
Short, silly songs with a good beat.

ie: Pissing On A Panda, Sperms Are Germs, Look! A Dollar

They make me laugh while I'm working out.
