Hi I have been listing my food intake and calories for 3 weeks, I lost 1 pound and gained it back.
I am a grandmother of 4, 3 girls 21, 11 & 9 and 1 boy 6. I have 2 sons and 2 lovely daughter-in-laws i feel belong to me also.
I have been working out on Wii Fit for the past year and only managed to loose 3 pounds that I have been able to keep off. Hopefully this will help.

    Hello. I am not a grandmother yet, but I am a forty eight yr old female, and I am finding it is much harder to lose when you are older. But I have been at it since Jan this year, and I have lost ten pounds. Also, three inches on the waist and three on the hips. For me, exercise at the gym has been the turning point. Whenever I work out at home, I didn't push myself like I get pushed in a group situation at the gym. No one really pushes me, but I have to keep up with everyone, so I push myself where I would not have before, like if I was at home. So I take the morning classes at the gym and I am feeling and looking so much better!

    I would advise you take you measurements. Sometimes the scale moves so slowly, but the inches will come off and you will see a difference more with the measurements. Also, take photo's so you can go back and compare. Good luck, you can do it!
