That I've created a spreadsheet to see the difference between my nutrition pre and post cutting out junk? I say junk but it's clear I'm still eating some crap, despite cutting out a lot of foods such as those with very little nutrition or very high in fats. any ways just in-case anyone's interested here's summery so far.

sugars slightly down general carbs actually up

but

fat down quite a bit, saturated fats down alot.
calories about the same
iron up, calcium + vit c + vit a and protein up loads.

Altogether happy with it almost a month in now to a years commitment. If I can just eat a few hundred calories less a day!

It is actually brilliant to create a spreadsheet to see the difference! Any step toward being healthier is the farthest thing from sad!

I started a spreadsheet a while back and am constantly refining it.

I find being able to do a 'dry run' for the day with different foods in varying quantities and proportions along with instant confirmation of the effect on the intake of everything I want to know about is extremely useful.

I should have done it years ago. Not sad at all in my book - keep up the good work.

yeah thought about that as well as planning meals a week ahead! also sometime i extract foods out to 2000 cals of that particular food just to see what they are high low very high and very low in! balance balance balance!
