Dehydrator

My husband and I want to get a dehydrator so we can make our own veggie chips....

Does anyone have one that they would recommend?

    Hi! We have this one. It's gigantic, so I have to keep it down in our laundry room, not in the kitchen, I think they may have a smaller version as well. Anyway, I think it's really great. We dry wild mushrooms, fruits, veggies, made jerky, etc. It comes with a really complete book with how to dehydrate various things. We have had the round ones in the past that layer on top of each other, but I like the trays better. it's easier to go in there and see what is done, what isn't, and pull things out when they are, because sometimes the timing varies if your sizes aren't uniform (and mine are kind of haphazard...). It's a really good tool to have the kitchen.....you'll be glad you invested in one!
