Alittle over a week ago i was almost 230 lbs (227.6). I've never been that heavy in my life, so I knew it was time for a change and i ran out of time to give up on myself. Today I am so excited to see that i have lost 8 lbs!:drinker: All this time i felt it was impossible for me to lose weight and that my attempts were worthless and now I know I can do it. I am soo motivated thanks to all my MFP's. Thank you everyone:flowerforyou: Keep Me Motivated!!:drinker:

Yep, and you can do it, too! I've lost 27 lbs, and it's been the easiest weight loss I've ever had.

What if you dont eat all the calories that are allowed? Will this still work?

Yes,,, to a point. If you go too far under your nutritional needs the body can go into "Starvation mode" and it will make you very unhealthy and make it extremely difficult to reduce as your body tries to survive by holding onto as much nourishment as possible.

Generally speaking - no female should go under 1200 calories a day, and most guys need more than that. Personally I eat my base calories and most of my exercise calories and I'm progressing well.

YMMV - lots of info on this all over the board. Look around - search "Starvation mode".
