So very STUCK!

I'm looking for some advice here. My girlfriend and I have been using MFP for about 6 months now and after an initial loss for her (7 lbs) and nearly nothing for me, I find we are stuck at a plateau. We are both striving for about 1lb/week loss in caloric intake, and have recently picked up jogging at a moderate pace (20-30 minutes, three-four times a week). We both tried lowering our intake further, but found after some research that it could be doing more harm than good. If anyone has some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it! Losing weight is stressful enough, but it's even harder when you're not seeing any results for your hard work.
