Hello My name is Danielle. I have been in the program for about 2 months. I've been trying to loose weight for about 6 months and I've lost 19 lbs. I"m trying to lose 16 more!!!

I've decided to really commit to the program and get involved in the message boards and blogs etc.

Anyone have success stories to provide for encouragement ?

    I never lost any weight with MFP before I started adding friends and looking at the message boards and blogs. I'm guessing my lack of success was because logging was just a chore, and there was nothing interesting about it. Maybe I'm not self-motivated enough, but it feels good to share my progress and have others encourage me when I do well. And, I hope my comments to others are helpful and motivating too. Plus, there are a lot of good ideas floating around about good food and recipe ideas to try that keep things interesting.

    If you're looking to build your friend base, I'd seriously consider adding a pic and making sure you fill out your profile. I usually don't add people who send friend requests if they don't have any info up. Not looking for MFP stalkers :-)
